***Sidebar:  One of my staff members shared a conversation she'd had with her spine doctor two weeks ago.  He was sharing what added medical expenses he is required by law that will mean higher rates to his patients:

1. $1,300 last month for new software required for patient and payment data
2. $40,000 for new equipment, coming up expense, required for patient and payment data that are to be instantly accessible to ObamaCare administration
3. $$ for "The Cloud" and $$ for another internet file system as a backup -- both, 2 systems,  are required for patient files and data at all times -- as the monthly fee goes up for "The Cloud," and he would want to drop it for a cheaper internet system that may emerge by then, "The Cloud" will keep all his patient files, not give them back to him for any reason, which he didn't like the sound of happening
4. As of May 2014, Medicare will not cover the cost of his services to Medicare patients, who will be required to pay cash if not having another insurance company--and if a Medicare patient should accidentally, or on purpose, file for reimbursement for his services, there will be a severe auditing for his entire file of patient records accompanied with stiff penalties for him as well as the patient who filed for reimbursement [which could make for a potential set-up if a patient wanted to get even with their physician]
